| | Ran 3 little miles! Needed to get more miles in! Will have to make up for it later! |
| | Have no idea what our pace was! Sure is nice having someone waiting on you to run! Makes you accountable! Since it is so hard to get up in the morning! |
| |
Ran 8 miles with my friend. I can't remember what our pace was! Just trying to catch up on keeping track of miles and pace! |
| | Ran 4 miles in the parking garage with my friend to get some hills in. Went to the gym with my husband and did 3 miles of speed work on the treadmill. Very difficult to run on the treadmill but still feels great to run! |
| | Ran 13 miles with my friend. We ran right under 9min. miles. Steady pace, felt good. |
| | Ran 6 flat miles along the Mississippi with my dogs! Did not keep track of pace, just ran. | |
| | Ran with Kristel and Sue did 4 miles then another 3 with Kristel and we sped things up a bit! Nice run, despite my junk food weight that I was carry'n around with me! Weather a little chilly for NO, windy! But towards the end wind died down and it was nice. No dogs this morning though! I will have to take them later this evening! | |
| | Ran with Kristel and we kept a 8:25 average pace, which we were very happy with. So great having someone to run with! I would have wimped out this morning if it were not for Kristle! Thanks! | |
| | We ran the parking garage to get some "hills" in. Did this last week as well but today we were able to speed up our pace a little, so it was a good workout! Taken tomorrow off we are running a 10k on Sat. and want to try and run it at a 8 min/mile pace. | |
| | Ran 6 with Kristel, pace < 9mins. then took my dogs along the Mississippi for another 6, pace approx the same as with Kristel. Legs feeling better! |
| | No running this week. Pulled my anterior tibialis I am pretty sure. Took off the last couple days and tried to run this morning and didn't even make it one minute. Don't want to make things worse and "run through it", I know this one isn't going away with-out some time off unfortunately! Sorry Kristel! Next week though we will get in our 50! The bike will have to do for now. |
| | Hit the gym today, did eliptylce and bike. Leg feels much better but not quite healed enough to run. One maybe two more days and I should be good. Lifted weights with my husband and he killed me! Arms are sore! But feels great! Ready to hit the road though, getting pretty grouchy! |
| |
Hit the road again, after taking some time off. Took dogs to Mississippi for a little run. Was great! Leg was sore, but not unbearable.
|
| | Ten with Kristel today. Felt good, legs a little tight, but all in all great run. |
| | River run with dogs again. Good run, just trying to get caught up! |
| | Good run with Kristel this morning. Boy taking even a little time off, you sure feel it! Legs seem to be more tired than usual! Good run though! Is there such a thing as a "bad" run? I don't think so!! |
| | Ran with Kristel (of course! Lucky me!) great run today, good to get more miles in. Gonna try get my mileage caught up by the weekend, we will see! Weather starting to get a little muggy, but not too bad,.......yet! | |
| | Kristel and I ran 6 at about an 8:45 pace. Both tired, thank goodness we have eachother holding us accountable to get up in the morning! Some days it is pretty hard to do! |
| | Ran 10 with Kristel, then came home and got the dogs and ran another 6 on the levee. Not going to be able to run Sat or Sun so trying to get in my miles before then. Run felt good, got a little hard at the end, I should have eatn a banana before I left, noticed I weas getting quite tired about the last mile. But able to keep my pace at about 9 min/mile, so feel good about that. Dogs were dragging a little with the heat and humidity, but they were still quite the little troopers! |
| | Ran with Kristel pace approx 8.30. Nice run, felt good today. |
| | Kristel up with kids all night and tired, so I had to run on the levee with the dogs, they were excited, but I sure missed Kristel's company! Our nice talks makes the time go by so much faster! The dogs get tired, and I end up having to pull them along too! The increased humidity makes it even harder! |
| | Got behind keeping my miles posted! This day was a great day for us! If I remember correctly we were able to keep our pace on average a 8:45 pace even in the humidity! So we were very happy! Great run! |
| | Okay, a little slower this day! Kristel had been sick, it was hot and humid! But we ran and had a great run, just a little slower. Which is going to happen in the humidity I am guessing! Plus it is tough being too fast at 4am! For me that is! (: Anyday running is a great day! | |
| | Speed work this day. With a little warm up in the beginning, then some hill sprints long and then short. Stretching, ab work, and wall sit at the end. Great work out, short, sweet, and sore the next day! |
| | Did P90X AB ripper and 30 mins. of Yoga; Accomplished 2 pull ups!! Run felt great, if it hadn't started to get too hot I would have run another lap which would have made my total mileage 21. The humidity and heat are killer, seems to just drain any extra energy you might have! |
| | Recovery run; Slow pace. Took dogs to levee for run. Did 2 pull ups, nothing else this day, tired. |
| | Ran with Lissa, super humid this morning! Pace average quite slow, but considering the heat, don't feel too bad; Pace average 9:20. |
| | Ran with Lissa this morning; Hot and humid of course! Average pace was 8:37 with fast pace of 7:45. So not too bad considering the heat! After our run I took the dogs to the levee and walked 2 miles. Good run. | |
| | Road biked on the levee with Kurtis 18 miles today as well. Great ride and run! |
| | Ran a nice little trail in Wa. pace average 8:15; nice cool run! |
| | Back packed 4 miles with 30# pack; elevation gain of approx. 3,ooo feet; 2.5 hrs. |
| | Backpacked out 4 miles with 30# pack; 2 hrs steep downhill grade; Quads tired! |
| | Back in La. Tough run! Got spoiled with the cool weather in Wa! The heat was tough on us today! Plus have not run for a week, so it was double tough! But sure felt good to get back to it! Pace not too bad considering the heat! Ran 9:23 av pace. Got in 3 pull ups! |
| | Ran 8:50 pace; Louisiana humidity |
| | Kristel and I ran 9:11 av pace; La |
| | Ran 8:33 av pace; In New Mexico, increased elevation tough! And had to run at track,......boring!!! |
| |
Shannon and I ran a 9:18 av pace; Elevation taking some time to get used to! NM |
| | Ran Red Rock Canyon; Hills, hills, hill, and more hills!!! Ave pace 10:11! Haven't had hills in over a year and now I get hills and a 6500ft elevation gain all at once! Kick'n my butt! Colorado sure is beautiful though!! |
| | Ran Red Rock again; Ave pace 9:19, a little better! |
| | Red Rock again; Av pace 9:17. |
| | Ran red rock, Ave pace 8:38, getting better. |
| | Ran Red Rock; Av pace 8:54, ooops! |
| |
Ran 10 at a 8:35 av pace. Elevation tough! Ran a different trail, not as many big hills.
|
| | Hiked incline in Manitou Springs; A one mile straight up stair climb! Tough!! Then hiked 2 miles back down the back trail. Great workout! Elevation about 7,000ft |
| | Ran 8:32 av pace; Ran fairly flat trail. Tired today! |
| | Ran 10.5 miles, av pace 8:40 on Pike Peak trail, rolling hills, nothing too significant. Then hiked the incline stairs, legs pretty spent! Flet good though! Hike took me about 2hrs. Fun! |
